Privacy Policy

Effective August 31, 2026 · Stoic Poker for iOS, by Mice and Chips

The short version: we don't collect your data. Any of it. Ever.

Stoic Poker has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no company servers. We have no way to see your poker results, your bankroll, your notes, or anything else you put into the app.

Where your data lives

What we don't do

On-device intelligence

The chat assistant and AI-written reports run entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device models (Apple Intelligence). Your questions and results are processed on the device and are not sent to us.

Device permissions

Stoic Poker asks for permissions only when a feature needs them: microphone and speech recognition for voice questions, the camera and photo library for features that use them, and local-network access if you use smart-light integration. Speech recognition is processed by Apple under Apple's privacy terms. Declining a permission only disables that feature.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account's subscription settings.

Deleting your data

Your data is yours to destroy: delete sessions in the app, disable iCloud sync, or delete the app and remove the "Stoic Poker" folder from your iCloud Drive. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing further to request from us.

Children

Stoic Poker is a record-keeping tool for adults who play poker. It does not offer gambling and is not directed at children.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated here first, with the effective date above.
